- To prepare and publish teaching/ learning materials for Non-formal/ Adult/ Continuing and Lifelong Education programmes.
- To organize workshops / seminars / conferences on related topics
- To conduct research studies based on the functions in the field.
- To monitor the programme continuously and to suggest practical remedies.
- Observance of days of National & International importance.
- To evaluate the progress of programmes and projects in the field of Non-formal/ Adult/ Continuing and Lifelong Education
- Production & Publication of non print and printed teaching learning materials for various clientele groups.
- To create a proper environment for the successful conduct of the Continuing Education Programme.
- To ensure the support of Media for Non-formal/ Adult/ Continuing and Lifelong Education in the State.
