Music is considered as the finest among the 64 fine arts. It has an ancient history which can be traced back to pre-historic times. A study on the evolution of music shows that music evolved or developed as a result of the genius and fertile imagination of mankind. Sangeetha Bhooshanam offered by SRC Community College aims at imparting the cultural, physical, intellectual, emotional, moral and spiritual values of music. It anticipates meeting the growing need for trained practitioners, performers and teachers of music and thereby ensuring quality in music educations.  The objective of this programme is to develop the capacity and capability of persons who wish to select music as an educational career.

Eligibility : Plus two PassRelaxation in the educational qualification (10th Pass or Equivalent) is allowed to those who havecompleted the age of 40 years. However, admission to the programme is subject to the clearance of an aptitude test conducted as part of the same.
