Certificate in Classical Dance – Bharatanatyam (CCBN) is a six-month Open, Distance and Flexible Learning (ODFL) programme offered by the State Resource Centre, Kerala, through its SRC Community College. The programme is designed to provide systematic training in Bharatanatyam, one of India's oldest and most revered classical dance traditions, by combining its rich philosophical, cultural, and artistic heritage with structured practical instruction. The curriculum equips learners with a sound understanding of the history, evolution, principles, techniques, and performance aspects of Bharatanatyam while nurturing discipline, creativity, aesthetic appreciation, and expressive skills. Along with comprehensive self-learning materials, the programme includes compulsory face-to-face practical sessions, guided training at designated learning centres, and continuous academic support from experienced instructors.
