Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications or PGDCA course is a professional postgraduate diploma course in computer application. The candidate can pursue the PGDCA programme after completion of any undergraduate programme. It covers comprehensive knowledge of computer applications and computer science. The programme comprises of a wide range of topics, such as operating systems, database management systems, and web programming. Following are the semester-wise details of the courses covered as part of the programme.

Semester 1

GCA001: IT Fundamentals and Word Processing

GCA002: PC Software

GCA003: DBMS, OOPS, Computer Organisation & Software Engineering

GCA004: Practical Part I (C++, Java, Python & MySQL)

Semester 2

GCA005: Business Management and Tally

GCA006: Data Communication and Networking

GCA007: Digital Marketing and Web Designing

GCA008: ERP, SAP, and FICO

GCA009: Practical Part II (Web Designing, ERP & Tally)

GCA010: Project Work

Students who have completed the DCA Programme offered by SRC, Kerala can transfer the credit earned from the courses CA001 and CA002 to the Semester 1 of PGDCA. CA001 and CA002 can be substituted with GCA001 and GCA002 of the PGDCA programme.
