DIPLOMA IN BAND ORCHESTRA

The Diploma in Band Orchestra (DBO) is a comprehensive one-year training programme offered by SRC Community College in collaboration with State Resource Centre, Kerala. Designed for learners passionate about wind, brass, and percussion music, the programme equips students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required for band performance and orchestra training.

The curriculum covers the foundational principles of music, notation writing, ear training, and structured practice in marches. Learners receive hands-on training through practical sessions, ensemble practice, and viva assessments.
